Inner Elder takes the audience on a journey of transformation through laughter and real-life memories of Gemini Award-winning Cree artist Michelle Thrush (from APTN’s Blackstone, CBC’s North of 60, Arctic Air) as she explores her own inner elder.

Through storytelling, we follow a young Indigenous girl navigating a world of alcoholic adults, aliens, and the spiritual presence of her guiding grandmothers, who seamlessly transforms into a mischievous old woman. Using a delicate blend of Bouffon and Indigenous clowning, this powerful award-nominated show offers a magical experience in the theatre and an extraordinary vision of our world.
