Joelle Peters is from Walpole Island First Nation and is of Ojibwe, Potawatomi, and Miami descent. Currently based in Toronto, she is an emerging actor, writer, singer, and amateur ukulele player.

Since graduating from Seneca College’s Acting for Camera and Voice program in 2014, Joelle has performed in a Now Magazine NNNN rated show in the 2015 Summerworks Festival, worked with Nashville music producer Mark Dreyer on a small music project, performed Tara Beagan’s Dreary & Izzy at Theatre Northwest, coordinated an acting workshop for First Nations youth with casting director Millie Tom, co-founded a small production company, and most recently was hired as an actor for a Stratford Festival play workshop. Joelle enjoys creating ukulele videos for her Instagram in her spare time and loves dogs.
