The Italian Girl in Algiers follows the story of Isabella, who finds herself in Algeria to save her lover Lindoro from the Turkish Bey, Mustafà.

One of Rossini’s most outrageous comedies, The Italian Girl in Algiers is replete with laughs and virtuosic vocal fireworks, helmed by the powerful female hero who takes control of her less-than-ideal circumstances to get her way.
