Kole Durnford

Kole Durnford is a Metis actor, playwright and creator originally from Stony Plain, Alberta. A graduate of the acting program at Toronto Metropolitan University, Kole recently received a Dora Award nomination for his performance of Gregory Green in Mixtape Project’s new musical, Killing Time. Beyond acting, Kole’s first play ECHO will be produced for a third time at Next Stage 2023. He is a Native Earth Performing Arts 40 Seeds for 40 Years creator for his new play SKYSCRAPER, which is also currently in development as part of the Paprika Festival 2023. Kole is a member of A FRONT COMPANY, a collective focused on creating distinctly young, live and bold theatrical experiments. Recent credits include: Killing Time (Mixtape Projects), Insert Clown Here (Parlous Theatre), Chok(H)er (Panoply Collective), Spring Awakening (TMU/Soulpepper), and The Gull (TMU/Tarragon).
