Grandma’s Pearls is born from the idea of gathering the next generation of professional dancers and encouraging them to have a deeper connection with their bodies. Through this event of high quality dancers and choreographers of Toronto get a chance to expose their work and offer the public an authentic and fresh celebration of this art form.

This first edition of Grandma’s Pearls will consist exclusively of classical and contemporary works.

Grandma’s Pearls is a metaphor that alludes to the most important asset of a person. The artists, who are the assets of this inclusive project, come from various prestigious ballet and contemporary schools.
