VIBE Arts Fest is a free, four-day Youth-Led Arts Festival, presented in Aki Studio, that showcases talent from a variety of VIBE Arts’ children and youth programs. The festival also includes artwork and performances from several of VIBE Arts’ Emerging Artists and Platform A micro-grant recipients.

VIBE Arts Fest features both visual and performance arts, as well as interactive art activities for the whole family. The gallery exhibit will feature murals, paintings, photography and more! Performance pieces range from Aboriginal drumming to Bollywood dance to spoken word to rap, and art activities include henna art and a graffiti wall. The event is open to the public and all are welcome!

VIBE Arts Fest 2016 is focused on the theme of “Identity”. The VIBE Arts Fest youth volunteer committee believe that creativity and expression through the arts allow for personal growth, understanding, and fulfillment. Arts initiatives also build strong communities by sharing and encouraging creative energy among community members of all ages.
